Getting started

As a senior Mass Communications Major at Miami University I throughly enjoy analyzing and critiquing media, especially TV and films. For  this blog i will focus on American film. What i will essentially be doing is screening certain films that pertain to American culture and posting my thoughts about the film here. If you share this same interest I would  like to hear how you feel about these films and hear your take on how you viewed them.

My first screening will be the literary classic turned film, The Grapes of Wrath (1940). The American Film Institute recently voted this film 27th Greatest Movie of All Time in their 2007 rankings. Thanks
